The maker of Swiftkey posted the news on thier blog page that new user will be able to download the app for free. This is a major shift for Swiftkey. Instead of charging dollar for purchasing the app, Swiftkey is going to change into a freemium app through in-app purchase options.

The new update will come with over 800 emoji and more than 30 new themes. Users can buy premium themes from the store while old users who have already paid for the app will get 10 premium themes worth of $4.99, for free. Also new users will be given 3 free premium themes.
